We are delighted to have advised Metlen Energy & Metals, a leading global industrial and energy company, on the formalisation of its strategic partnership with Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A. Group marking Metlen’s entry into an existing special purpose vehicle established by Tsakos Group for the joint development of one of the largest hybrid renewable energy projects in Greece.
The joint venture will develop, construct and manage a project comprising a 251.9 MW photovoltaic power plant together with an energy storage system of approximately 375 MWh, located in Central Greece.
Moussas Law Firm advised Metlen on all Greek law aspects of the transaction, including the legal due diligence, the structuring and negotiation of the transaction documents, and all related regulatory, real estate and corporate matters through to signing.
