Nikos is a senior, innovative litigator with extensive experience in complex civil, corporate, commercial, and criminal disputes.
He advises clients on high-stakes matters, offering strategic and practical guidance, with particular focus on corporate governance, executive liability, and labor and employment issues, as well as challenging real estate and property law cases. His practice frequently involves major renewable energy projects, construction and public infrastructure works (e.g. railways and motorways), and industrial operations.
At Moussas & Partners, Nikos represents and advises high-profile domestic and international clients, including the Metlen Energy & Metals group (formerly Mytilineos). His work focuses primarily on corporate liability cases across civil, criminal, and administrative courts throughout Greece, where he is recognized for his strong advocacy and strategic approach.
Nikos has significant experience in energy and natural resources litigation, acting for developers of solar and wind parks, as well as mining operations. He is well-versed in Environmental, Social, and Governance – ESG standards and the applicable regulatory frameworks, and regularly handles disputes under specialized statutory regimes, including maritime claims, aircraft leasing matters, and aviation regulatory issues.
He also advises domestic companies on corporate, labor, and employment matters, both in an advisory capacity and in dispute resolution. In addition, he supports transactional work from zoning and legal due diligence through to completion, and has participated in major acquisitions for Metlen, including EFA Energy, Volterra, and Watt+Volt.
His practice further encompasses enforcement proceedings, banking and capital markets disputes, and debt restructuring matters.
Combining litigation with criminal and regulatory expertise—particularly in tax, white-collar, and corporate fraud cases—Nikos has represented both individuals and corporate entities, such as a leading Greek financial institution active in leasing and factoring. This breadth of experience enables him to deliver effective, commercially sound strategies and maintain a strong courtroom presence.
Nikos has a strong academic background in criminal law. He is a member of the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association and the Hellenic Criminology Society, and serves as Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the Hellenic Police Officers’ School.
