Our Firm’s Managing Partner, Nicholas Moussas, member of the board of directors of the Greek Law Firms Association (SDEE) and of the Working Group for the preparation of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Code established by the Greek Ministry of Justice, participated in the “Justice: The Foundation of Growth & Prosperity” conference.
The event took place on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025, at the Athens Conservatoire and featured more than 50 distinguished speakers.
Nicholas Moussas, joined the panel discussion “From Litigation to Alternative Dispute Resolution” where the discussion focused on the role of ADR in creating a more effective and accessible justice system. He emphasized, among other points, the pivotal role of the mediator in achieving the genuine resolution of disputes—rather than simply providing formal ratification of settlements. He further noted that mediation has struggled to gain traction in Europe, whereas it has flourished in Anglo-Saxon jurisdictions, largely due to differences in evidentiary systems.
The event, was co-organized by the Council of State, the Supreme Court of Greece, Hellenic Court of Audit, SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, Greek Law Firms Association (SDEE) and National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
