Stratos is admitted before the Court of Appeals. He has served as in-house counsel in the banking and cement sectors. Previously, he worked as international counsel under EUMIK in Kosovo and held senior associate positions in various law firms.
He has extensive international transactional experience, focusing on drafting and negotiating various types of contracts. He has been involved in M&A projects, joint ventures, spin offs and divestitures completing deals in Greece, Southeast Europe, Brazil, Egypt, and Cyprus.
Moreover, he has completed deals involving the sale of industrial machinery and technology licensing in Austria, Poland, the Philippines, Colombia, Greece, Japan, Korea and India. He has experience in infrastructure and technical projects (FIDIC and ORGALIME terms) as well as procurement of various types of goods and services. He has also worked on corporate finance deals, such as syndicated loans, bond issues, and derivatives based on ISDA documentation. He has defended successfully financial institutions in several securities litigation cases and has advised clients on securities regulation.
Currently, he serves as Corporate Privacy Officer for a multinational industrial company ensuring compliance with the GDPR and with international sanctions regimes imposed by the EU, US (OFAC) and UN as well as anti-corruption and anti-bribery matters.
