Konstantina’s practice mainly focuses on civil and corporate matters, data privacy, trademark protection and regulatory compliance.
She regularly advises in corporate establishment and structuring, day-to-day corporate commercial practices and their regulatory compliance. She carries out legal due diligence, drafts transactional documentation and is also involved in advising a diverse client base, including multinational and domestic corporations, on structuring their business in Greece; this includes company formation, establishment formalities, compliance matters and drafting various types of commercial contracts.
Konstantina’s focus on data protection and privacy issues enables her to offer concrete advise to corporate clients on GDPR compliance including direct marketing and data protection impact assessments, data retention periods and privacy issues at the workplace. She regularly undertakes drafting and negotiating privacy terms in contracts, drafting privacy policies, data processing agreements, data sharing agreements and privacy notices.
She has experience on registration and protection of all types of IP rights including national, EU and international trademarks. She advises on all aspects of copyright and conducts due diligence on IP issues and represents clients before competent courts in case of trademark infringement proceedings.
Konstantina’s practice includes the full spectrum of dispute resolution and litigation mechanisms ranging from negotiation, mediation and arbitration to representation of international and domestic clients before the Greek courts in a range of commercial and civil litigation issues.
Further, she regularly contributes exclusive chapters and articles in high profile international legal guides such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Getting the Deal Through – Lexology as well as in local legal reviews.
Previously, Konstantina has acted as the head legal advisor to a Greek bank active in the ship-financing scene. She has also advised a Greek Telecommunications Company and has successfully represented it before Greek courts. Konstantina’s interdisciplinary background and previous experience as an Official Consultant of the European Commission (DG GROW) enables her to handle the multidimensional challenges of European and international business and law and offer commercially aware, sophisticated and pragmatic solutions.
